Where International Duck Watch is about then Sri Lanka’s Suranga Lakmal is never far away. The inaugural International Duck Club inductee has developed a habit of helping others join the club and today Lakmal welcomed South Africa’s Keshav Mahahraj to the party by getting him to nick behind the third delivery that he faced.
In the race to be the leading ducker, Kyle Abbott, who was originally inducted when failing miserably as an overnight watchman in Australia, was run out after facing just three deliveries to get his name on the honours board for the second time.
When Sri Lanka got around to their reply Kusal Mendis levelled with Abbott by being caught behind off the bowling of… Abbott!
That’s your paddle of ducks today folks!
